Capitalism Quip

Or an extended quip, anyhow.

The neighbourhood in which I live has at least eight markets in a two block radius of my place.

In ColumbusOH, that entire radius could fit inside a Meijers supermarket, I think.

Nobody would ever think that it would be a good way to lay out that Meijers with eight meat sections, eight pet food sections, or the like. It's clearly inefficient.

Capitalism only sets a lower bound for inefficiency of markets; it can't be easily argued that it goes further.
