Continuing to Grow as a Programmer

One of the big changes in my life over the last 10 years has been the slow fading of programming as an area of growth. I still like programming, but there's less of a thrill in learning most new technologies in the field. I think that's mainly because I've learned enough to do anything I'm likely to want to do. There are some areas where I legitimately might want to learn more, but they're now fairly few and not the kind of thing I'm likely to learn with the hardware I have (might like learning about how virtualisation works in a lower level, and possibly really high scalability, plus fault-tolerant computing is pretty rocktastic). When it comes to learning I'm more focused on other skills and ideas/concepts/frameworks.
