I had a great day today.. I got a spare SGI Indy from work, a toy I've always wanted since I had one while working for Rob in the UTS Workstation support center. Then, after work, I went to see some friendly faces I haven't seen for awhile, and had a great time.
Well, that's what should've happened. It would've been nice.. *sigh I did get a spare SGI Indy from work.. and right after work, I went to meet with them, but... I went to the wrong restaurant. There are two of them in Columbus, apparently. I did not know this, and waited for about 3 hours at the restaurant, and finally, sadly, went home. Then, in the hopes of at least getting a little enjoyment in the day, I hooked up the Indy, and pressed the power button. Nothing. The system is dead. I was so hoping to pick up an indycam, just like the one I used to have at that job. I was looking forward to playing with the system. Instead, today is just one big flop.
I'm going to go to bed now.. maybe I'll be in a better mood when I wake up.
