It looks like I need to pony up quite a bit of money for the conference, both now and later. I paid for the flights just now.. that was $261, both flights being crack-of-dawn monstrosities. I need to pay for the conference by 10 June.. that'll be $1490. After the conference, I'll need to pay the hotel, that'll be $1176. I can afford it all, but I am really doubtful that I'll be able to pull it off without eating into savings. It depends on the timing of my paychecks. I might talk to visa and apply for a higher credit rating so I won't need to pay for these things with check..

I really should make some posters for teaching computer stuff soon.
