I'm at Cofee Tree. When I was ordering, the cashier was surprised -- she swore that I was already there, and had ordered an hour before. She decided that it must've been someone who looked just like me. Image that -- someone who looks just like me. I've only met one person who made that impression to me. That reminds me of a study on race I read some time ago, suggesting that people focus on facial characteristics that differ the most among the people they grew up with. Orientals and Occidentals both look relatively uniform to each other.
At work, my new workstation came in, and it's a monster! Dual 2.4Ghz, 2G RAM, and, as will no doubt come as a surprise to Andrew, and was certainly a surprise to me, capable of dual-head. I got all that working, and with only 2 drawbacks -- it sometimes fails to boot (only in SMP mode -- maybe power management related?), and sound doesn't work at all. I'll cope :) I love dualhead! It's fantastic for programming...
