Apparently, Katie Tarbox backed down, or perhaps never actually made a claim to katie.com. It's all sort of confusing -- there is corrispondence for a lawyer trying to convince the other Katie to hand over the domain, but now Tarbox denies ever requesting such a thing, also that that lawyer is involved with the issue. Either this is good PR work to cover a lost battle, or something very strange happened between KatieT, her publisher, and that lawyer. Hard to know now.

I'm going to go visit my parents and grandparents this weekend.
