It seems to me... that making pieces of critical infrastructure, like the yum meta-package-manager, depend on fedora.redhat.com being up.. was not the most inspired decision for the Fedora/Redhat IT/developer folk. Now none of my systems can update, because yum needs to get its list of mirrors from fedora.redhat.com, which was knocked over by the hordes of people slurping Fedora 6 right now. It would be nice if these people would join the torrent swarm (I've been slowly getting the DVD ISO for all of today), but one should generally not expect large numbers of people to behave intelligently.

Oh, by the way, Fedora 6 is out. Go get it (through the torrent!)

At some point, I'm going to need to finish deodorising a room that my cats have apparently been making bad smells in until I recently noticed. My normal mean of doing this -- opening a window and using a series of fans to attempt to blow air over the area and then up/out the window, is particularly unpleasant given the weather. I have a love-hate relationship with my cats....
