It's funny how, within ten minutes, an online chatroom can easily change from people trading crude jokes and puns, through a brief talk on the relative merits of Piers Anthony and Terry Pratchett, to a discussion of Murakami, Kundera, and Nietzsche. It's important to remember that even really intelligent people sometimes have really inane, stupid conversations.

I started to watch my videocasette of Face/Off today, and found myself really wishing that it were wrapped into a MST3k episode. I think most movies, even most very good ones, would be better as part of a MST3k episode though. Ideally, this would be the Mike/Dr Forrester/TV's Frank era MST3k, but I'm not so picky.
